A scramble of my mumbles, rambles and trembles. Let them all rest in the blog so I don't have to crumble.

Causeway Bay
Havn't been to Causeway Bay for a long time, a place I use to work there daily for many years. There are changes, but I still feel like home.

WIMAX on it's way
Samsung announced the world's first WIMAX PDA.
Being the next big evoluation in telecom, WIMAX has very little discussion in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is still pushing hard the 3G technology, which would surely killed by WIMAX. Why? Hong Kong is largely controlled by The Lee's Family. Hutchison now only operate 2 3G network in the world, Isarel and Hong Kong. PCCW just launched it's 3G not long before..... if people starting to talk and expect for the WIMAX, they all loss big investment. Well, "they" all named Lee.

The next Generation computer
http://www.ncomputing.com/ncomputing/products/typel100.php
At the size of a pda, with connection to keyboard, mouse and monitor, it has no CPU and HDD. Connected with boardband / Ethernet and runs programs on network computers. All hardware bonded to a plastic chip, nothing to break inside so it's robust. Consumer 2% of the power of a regular PC. Costed $50 at launch. Sounds promising.
Wait a minute: Bill doesn't say yes to connect 30 users to one single Windows PC....

25 mins - egg became very warm
40 mins - egg became very hot
65 mins - egg was cooked.

There is a very nice looking sports kit, and appearantly it can transmit data from the shoes to your nano about your jogging time... very attractive.
Luckily I don't have the nano!
