A true story told by my uncle:
There was a doctor in the States married a rich woman who own the houses of a whole block. The doctor is rich, but his wife is much more rich then he, and always feel to command everything of the doctor's life because she thought her husband was using her money. The marriage resulted in devoice.
Decades later, the doctor was still un-married. He was very careful in his money and investment after the devoice, and retired rich.
Having nothing to do, he studys gambling, and do a nice job by constantly winning in the Vagas casinos. He owns a lot of properties, but he still leases out the empty rooms of his own house because he want to cover the the installment with the rental. His mistress is a lady who rented one of the room, and he immediately leased out the mistress's room after she moved into the master room and sleep with him. He never married again because he refuses to give half of his fortune in case of another devoice. Being a VIP of the casinos, he check-in the free hotel room provided by the casinos, and he always bring a large bag to collect all the pajamas, soaps and shampoos when he check out from the hotel. He can't use them all so he just stocks all the hotel collection in his closet.
He is a weird and rich old man.
He has everything; and he has nothing.

Don't we all though? I have/had everything that I may or may not want/need, I had/have nothing that I may or may not want/need... What do/don't I have that I really want/need? It all boils down to the mood at the time really.
The lesson for James is: do not devoice.
Life goes on.
Not the same life again, James.
"Mr. Choi lost his horse". How does one know which way is better or worse when things happened as they already happened only in that one way and therefore cannot happen another way.
If we cared so much of what we have and have not, then we would never have enough and therefore may seemingly have "nothing". It is only when we let go and take things as they already are and the way as they come, we would have "everything".
Having said that, all that do not really matter. As no one could ever have absolutely everything, and by the same token, no one ever actually have absolutely nothing.
Therefore, the same life or not, we would never know. As what's in the future is not known until time and things unfold.
Just kidding about devoice or not.
The true point I wanted to made is actually: money is not everything. It may give you everything in the material world, it can't help anything spiritually. To live better, it's important for us to appreciate what we already have, and enjoy it. Processing of something doesn't mean you are having it; enjoy it does.
It applies to your cameras, your cars, your relationships, your careers, and, your own vitality.
Yet there are some who think having a rerun or on disc of a certain Korean TV show is everything. ;-p
