A moral question

When someone wants me die and starts killing me, should I kill that someone first?

Wasn't it Jesus who said bless such people?

Re: Jesus, not quite. He was only talking about face-slapping. But then, we now have an alternative http://www.boingboing.net/2006/04/17/happy_slapping_idiot.html.

As for your response to threat, it depends. Do you ever get waked up by a mosquito buzzing close to your ear? Bloody annoying right? What do you do about it? The opportunity cost for trying to kill the mosquito with your bare hands is just too great and it ain't effective anyway. So you plug in that electric mosquito repellant to get the little bug to back off.

Check out those BBC nature videos. Animals don't always kill threats. Killing is a messy business, so here is a lot of Wong Fei Hung v. Sek Kin. The point is to tell your threat to back off, and there will be another day.
